Intel and Netflix to deliver AV1 codec
NAB 2019: Netflix has partnered with Intel to launch new video codec SVT-AV1.
Intel and Netflix have announced a new high-performance video codec, Scalable Video Technology for AV1 (SVT-AV1), which is available as open source and royalty-free to content creators, developers and service providers.
