At IBC2023 in Amsterdam, Maria Rua Aguete, Technology Fellow and Executive Director, Media, Service Providers & Platforms, Omdia, unveiled the research company’s latest report on gaming IP and the rapid rise of the bonds between games, movies and TV. In particular, she examined how TV show “The Last of Us” became a prominent hit through its cross-media relationships.
